- The 4 mounting holes appear to be on a 83 mm diameter wide circle ( centre to centre of bolt hole ) .
- It's definately a smidgeon more than a 3 1/4" wide circle .
>< cheers
It was the hole layout I was after, Thanks
Hey Rich, if you are making a 9800/2435 mounting bracket/adaptor i'd be interested in seeing what design you come up with.

Hi Cooky,
this is the master copy . I used slate filler and diolon cloth . The mounting flange is one piece and large enough in diameter to take Tad and jbl . The flange is 11mm (resin & carbon fibre) thick and I will machine each horn when completed. I have been thinking about a hybrid cloth, but that means using vacuum and being very confident that there are no voids. I dont know what mould material to use yet- still researching that one.
Some Pics:
I made a mounting plate for the 2435 a while back. Used 82.5mm diameter and it seems to work well. I have attached an actual size drawing.

thanks Johnny,
I can print that off and use it as a template.

Rich, as ever, jaw dropping stuff-I've not started mine yet, waiting for workshops to clear after the degree finals.
So the plan is mount the 2435 tight ie no spacer/extended throat effect from a bolt on mounting plate-I'm getting some made maybe 2-3mm thick aluminium

Maybe time to get the cad drawing altered to remove that rear lip on horn throat...
Johnny, that'll come in very handy thank you.
