They are quite nice - I do like them, stunning for rock and a lot of other music. I played Tommy (Polydor Japan opi-sash remastered version) and flat out Amazed my neighbor with the Underture ... and a lot of other music is quite nice. It can be a touch shrill on some music - but only if I am being fussy ...
But - my other speakers are darned close to L300s - so I'm spoiled by 15 inch woofers and horn class speakers, and I don't really have room for 3 big pairs of speakers ...

I've loved my L166's since new but when I found a pair of L100t3's on craig's list my opinion changed in minutes... those big ported cabinets DO make a difference. happy listening, Mark
