    D130F Woofer

I have stereo speaker systems, each comprised of a D130F woofer with an N2400 crossover and an LE-20 Tweeter. I would like to upgrade my tweeters to 075s sometime but here is my question. The D130F woofer was designed for musical instruments. How does it compare to the D130s that were not designed for musical instruments? If I remember correctly, when I bought these (over 40 years ago) they had a copper voice coil rather than aluminum and were designed for high power - but how do they compare sonically with a regular D130? Any opinions?

The D130F uses an aluminum voice coil (not copper) and should work fine anywhere you would use a standard D130.

To the best of my knowledge, we NEVER, EVER put out a home hi-fi system using a D130F - NOT EVER.

    D130F Woofer

I have my speakers in a Barzilay cabinet. The D130F has been a great speaker - no problems in over 40 years. Just wondered if I was missing anything. Would 075 ring radiators improve the sound over my LE-20s?

The N2400 was designed for the 075. If the LE20 sounds good to you, stay with that.
