    JBL 18ti vs L20t

I have a pair of L20T's in my office and found a pair of 18ti's on ebay. Does anyone think that you can hear the differnece in a low volume office enviroment??? It is all in the tweeter, is the driver the same??? I have convinced myself that it would just be a waste of money for my office...

Comments... Ps. I have attached the link of the ebay auction, I AM NOT BIDDING HAVE AT IT...

100% agree - in a low volume office environment you will not notice much.

But if you already had some bigger Ti's in the house and you wanted a way to listen to your 044Ti spares until you needed them, that's a different story.

(it's my story actually - the 120Ti's are my low volume office speaker until/if my 250Ti's need some spare parts )

Woofers are the same. The 18ti should sell for more than twice the L20t just on part value alone. I don't think they sound that much different. I do prefer aluminum to plastic, though.

That add scares me a bit. I know it all looks legit, but I swear I've seen the same ad copy and pics (incl identical scratches) several times before. weird.

Interesting tidbit about the 4406, 18Ti, and L20t...

All three used slightly different networks much to the surprise of their designer. He didn't remember doing that filter three different times and coming up with three different solutions. I personally preferred the sound of the 4406 network myself.
