How many were made and thru what years? Also did they offer the plans up so people could make their own cabinets for those? Wouldnt the original models come with the JBL gray/white plate on the back stating model and serial number?

I have a catologue from 6/59 that shows the start of the Metregon.
Mine is an early unit and has the water decal underneath like your Paragon.
I have the JBL plans to build one.

I have a friend looking at one. He states it has the black particle board back of JBL but no badge or marking of any kind. I am wondering if it is a home built cabinet? I will be looking at it on Friday. I will check for the water decal.
