Wouldn't you need some pretty serious delay on the HF in that system to compensate for the distance to the source of the subs?

    Hey, Shane...

Yea, that's a beaut! It surfaces from time-to-time here on the Forum.

Gotta say, there's some new vid footage there, I think. Wonder what year-make that Gibson F4 is... Nice!

I did not search for this on the forum.... But I have always wanted to do this with subs. Not the horn per-say, but the concrete cabinet in the floor.

I do not know year models of Gibsons very well but yes it is very very nice indeed!!

That reminds me of a story I heard some 20+ years ago.
It was said that JBL was doing some demo/promotion in Australia at the time, where they had rigged a couple of full wave length horns in a stadium and after some serious testing, they discovered afterwards that a newspaper stand, placed behind and beneath the stands, had been totally demolished by all the high volume, low frequencies played during the gig.

If it's true or not, I don't know, but I liked the story enough to have repeated it at numerous occasions.

Perhaps anyone here has heard it too?
