    JBL 4412A Speaker Cabinets

I would like to cover up some hairline scratches on my JBL 4412A
speaker cabinets,I do not want to repaint them, I would like to find something that would possibly match the original color.
    Thank you.

    Aren't they a walnut wood-grain?
Or are they some kind of painted finish?

They're actually a vinyl veneer over particle board or, as JBL refers to it "Matte Gray Laminate". Might check to see what a wood shop might charge to slap some nice wood veneer on those suckers. It's only four sides.
