does anyone know this amp. im in the position to trade it for my bose 1801.
when i checkt the net it seems that prices are about the same.
i like the bose but i will have to spent another 150 euro's to make it safe.
the rotel looks nice and has sufficient power to drive my century golds.
but are there any common flaws with this amp, will i have to worry about the dc blowing up the speakers. that kind of things
any info would be grately appriciated
finally i have a pair of 604 8g's....there not easy to find in the netherlands
No opinion about the Rotel but in case you keep the 1801 you might want to send a PM to member Hofmannhp for options on how to make the Bose amp safe.
That's one of their few vintage products that impressed me – pretty famous and somehow exceptional, not to be confused with their speakers.
It powered the JBL sound at all recent german LHF parties this year..
