    reconing a 2123j into a le10h??

Greetings all jibble freeks!! Question for the pros..I would like to get some le10h's, and I will likely buy baskets, and recone them myself ( Yes I can do it, have done it, and was raised by a certified jbl recone tech!!!). I don't trust the foam edges on anything I see for sale on ebay, or elsewhere, but really like that driver. So it seems the best, cheapest way is to find a basket that will take the le10h cone kit, and operate within spec.

    Two things...
I believe the 2123 basket will be a dead on match for a le10h cone kit. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, and give examples of baskets that WILL do the trick!)
I am also under the impression that the impedance of a speaker is determined by the cone kit, or coil to be more specific. (Again, please let me know if that is accurate.)

I am spying a pair of dead 2123j's on ebay. I would like to get the baskets, and carry out my evil plans!!!
If anyone is interested, I intend on building 4410 like cabs for surrounds in my happy little surround system. I own the 104h-3's, the o35ti's, the crossovers, and have some older jbl cabs that I'll use. Cheers!!!

Yes, recone the 2123's as LE10's.
