Pull the bass drivers and post their model numbers.

Now you've got me curious. I've got two pairs of Jubals and din't know there were different versions. Are these differences in a doc somewhere?

Yes. I've posted the differences, ad nauseum, all over this forum for years.

OK, I did a search, and besides the different networks, it looks like it's:
    L65 - 126A
    L65A - 122A
    L65B - 129H

Are those correct? I didn't notice anyone talking about different mids/highs - correct?

I had all mine refoamed at the same time and as I recall, the woofers were all the same, though I can't remember which version. The control plates on all just say "L65" - would the A and B versions add the letters on the label?

    Thanks - John

I think you'll find the model numbers differentiated on the foilcal.

I believe the original L65 had Jubal in the upper right corner of the foilcal.

All of mine are like the bottom one - L65 instead of Jubal, and with the "A" down in the corner. 'Wonder if the L65B have a "B" in the corner?

Thanks for the help I forgot to mention the woofers were not stock they had been replaced by the previous owner with the
woofers from the L100. The pictures of the foil plates lead me to believe this set is the original. It says " JUBAL" and not L65. Thanks, again. John

I believe the original L65 has the LE5 toward the center with the 077 to the left side, and the L65A has the 077 toward the center with the LE5 to the right side.

    That is correct!

The woofer is also mounted a little bit higher up in the L65 cabinet than in L65 Jubal.

The woofer in the Jubal (right) is a temporary solution while I am refoaming the original 126A.

    Regards!

the port is above the woofer in the early Jubal with the 126A. the port is below the woofer in the 122A version. The crossover is on the bottom of the latter and on the back of the former. Look at the screw holes on the back. The LE-5-5 is mounted with wood screws on the Jubal L-65 126A and with Tee nuts and bolts on the L-65 122A version.
