    Old Vs New

First hand information, as I have compared the "old" 2235H to the "new" 2235H, just re-coned.

There IS a difference. The new one, (playing 30Hz at the moment) needs a break in time. No doubt.

So, ... to those of you that does not think this is something to care about, ... YOU LOOSE.

    Rolf,

I am curious did you do the recone yourself?

I recall Bo saying his 2245's reconed took some time to break in...apparently.

In any case the fresh cone would surely break in with natural playing over the course of time.

Beats slapping the mass control ring on warble tone.

My reconed 2122's took some time to break in but it was like less than a week

So how can anyone be a looser! I guess I don't get it.

    Ian

Hi Ian. No, the job was done by the importer of JBL pro in Norway.

I know the woofer will play itself in over time, just helping it a little with some 30Hz form time to time.

I did not mean anybody is a looser. It was a discussion for some time ago that somebody said that the speaker did not need a break in time, and it does. Nobody is a looser.
