Finding parts for old JBL 2482 Comp Driver(s)

Getting the diaphragms isn't a problem but getting something as easy as the diaphragm cap fillister screws is akin to finding a needle in a hay stack.
Anyone have spares? I'm needing 8, if someone can point me in the direction
of a vendor or someone that may have them, I'll buy you a beer...
They have .250 head (#8) phillips 10-32 X 2". I have found some .303 slot but would rather not hack up the diaphragm caps getting them to fit.
JBL parts was a wasted effort, sending common steel 1/4 X20 hex = ,
    not even close.
    Thank You,

    grinder finder

Get some standard pan head bolts of the correct length and find someone with a vertical belt sander and sand down the heads to fit. Wear gloves and get a few extras to practice with.

Be sure to clean out the holes with a bottom tap and light oil before re-assembly.

you will not find them anywhere...and getting someone in JBL parts to figure out the correct number only to find out they are NLA will take up a few hours of your life..)

Good advice from subwoof on cleaning the holes with a tap. The ferrous junk does tend to stay lodged in the hole due to the driver's magnetic circuit. I have had decent luck cleaning the holes using a nail with a big neo magnet stuck to it.

Some 1990 era catalogue info ( ie; these parts numbers may not be current or relevant in 2007 ) :

    - Ask JBL parts if Catalogue No ; SC-MS52602 means anything to them these days . The part number description says it is a screw for the cover ( Back-Cap ) of the 2440/41 driver ( which is the same as the 2482 ) . The "screw" to hold the diaphragm in place ( for the 2440/1/5 ) would be SC-MS32164 .

    - The screw holding the "Back-Cap" of a 2420/1/2470/le85 type driver is part number ; SC-MS52601 .

    - They may need to strip out the "SC-" prefix to do a proper database search.

    - It appears any prefix before "MS#####" was used as a descriptor for the general class type . ( example 1 ; Cardboard Shipping Boxes or Cartons, begin with: CTN-MS##### ), ( example 2 ; Dust Domes, begin with: DD-MS##### ), ( example 3 ; FoilCals, begin with: FL-MS##### ), ( example 4 ; Screws , begin with: SC-MS##### )

    ps : MS##### ; That's the letter "S" after the "M" / ( not the number "5" ) .

Here's the listing from the current JBL Pro parts list:

    52602 SCR, MACH 10-32X2 $ 2 .70 USD EA

The MS designation is for Machine Screw IMO.

Here's the old 2441 pdf describing the screw parts:
