Need to Find Out if 130A Cone is original or Aftermarket

    Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and need some help. I just purchased a nice pair of 130A's and wanted to know if cones are original or aftermarket. The numbers which are printed in white on both cones is 21057 and both have that tar like coating on the surrounds. Please tell me what I have and thanks.:dont-know

    Dave

    How do they sound?
    Otherwise, why does it matter?

I have two 130As that I've had for beaucoup years and never had reconed. (A buyer is supposed to come by for both today so you my friend are in luck.)

Both have 21057 stamped in white and also have 130A in pencil. These are both listed as 8 ohm units. SR#s 32553 and 32554 (yes, they are consecutive units).

    Hope this helps.

It does and thanks...I picked mine up today and both are in pristine condition and both have 21057 on the cones and have consecutive S/N of
28913 and 28914, both have the factory treated surrounds to prevent cracking, what a super find, its not everyday you find consecutive units in pristine condition. I also found out that cones with the number 130-202 printed on them were 16 Ohm units and the ones with 21057 printed on them were 8 Ohm units, both numbers are indeed factory original cones.
