are these jbl drivers or boxes? the seller claims so.

I would have to say no. I'm 99.9% sure. Maybe they are 'Lancer' brand, that is sometimes confused with JBL's Lancer Models. The Brand Lancer is was made by Soundcraftsman. The tweeters appear to be some black soft domes and the 5" mid's appear to have aluminum dustcaps. I do not know of any stock JBL models that use those particular items. I hope this helps

Thanks steve i was about 90% sure myself but thought i should ask in case. i know a lil bit about jbls but not enuf yet everytime i think i know something for sure im wrong about 50% of the time

Maybe even a model 3 or 4.

They might even have been modified from stock form also!

Grills, crossover plate and wide flange on the 12" frame is what I am goin on.
