Someone probably has, but which version do you have?

On the Paragon it's amazing what an extra 6 feet and a passive radiator behind each LE15A will do. Especially in a 500+ ft room.

Does anybody of you pre/past/today owners know that the curved front of the paragon also "play" music? That is why JBL stopped production, as the "paragon man" who know the secret could not do it anymore.

A lot of speculations here. What about the truth?

The truth is that the Paragon is the best JBL ever have done ... that is to the day the 43xx came to life with modifications.

No the curved panel on the Paragon does not play music. Only reflects the midrange frequencies. No the Paragon did not have a passive radiater. No the Paragon is not the greatest speaker JBL ever designed. Ive had both the Paragon & Metregon in the same room to compare.

Who have told you that? .. NOT the designer, who told me that from the far left/right =500Hz ... to the middle about 1200Hz.

    Don?

    What?

News to me if the panel plays anything but the reflection... since it's only a
    curved plywood surface.

The JBL+ horn reflect frequencies from 500hz to 7000hz off the curved Paragon panel...only.

With the new Accuphase DF-45 electronic digital frequency dividing network. Even that can be corrected.

    Question

    Paragon users,

might this simulation give true results for a LE15A?
(Left and right simultaneously, close to the wall)

Any change of parameters results in this peaky response around 150 Hz.

My question has been whether there is this accentuation around 150 Hz with a real Paragon.

The simultion has been made with Hornresp, which I mentioned in this forum.
The shown response is "autherd by" me , if interested I'll give the input parameters.
