Just an update. I did pull the 128 woofers and the green wire was going to the red post. I did as Bo suggested and put the green to the black post. They do seem to sound better and think I am...
I had this link bookmarked and Bo stated You own the first iteration of the L65's (nice!). My notes say the 128H is an "acoustic replacement" for the 126A, but if you go that route, note that you...
So should I wire it as the N65 schematic shows? Also not quite sure I understand ...
Thanks all. The above thread does explane the phase issue with the N65 and the rest of the L65 schematics. When I replaced the 126 with the 128H I may have switched the polarity. Thinking at the...
Agree. Also I do believe my schematic is the 1st one at the top.
Not sure why it bunched together. Tried editing but no go so please ignore the sloppiness.
HelloIts been a while since I have posted here. I am currently working on my house and my main system is disabled. I was missing the music so I put together a little system. Jolida JD5 pre and JD9...
Not sure what you are attempting to do. Also I am not that technical of a person. I had no intentions of Biamping the 4343B speakers that's the reason for bypassing the switch. I left the switch...
I have know idea but I would imagen that if you burnt up the switch the speakers and crossovers would be toast.
Yes it has value if you intend to biamp the speakers.
Okay sorry I looked for pictures but could not find any showing a rotary switch. Also I cant help because I have never worked on the 4333B.
Good luck
Greg
I do not think the 4333B has a rotary switch.

Thanks for the laugh. I can picture it because my pops would have done the same.
On another note I remember having Black Sabbath Master of Reality cranked at the start where they cough. My mom...
Truthfully those 2 records are the ones that I listened to the most. Hardly listened to others and especially not in the last 30 years only those 2. I did go through some others today. Maybe fast...
Mr. Ian thanks for the reply. I did do the surrounds, bypass rotary switch and replaced the binding post all for single amp mode. At the time I did not want to pull the crossovers. I did not have...
Goldjazz thanks. I know some of this stuff can be unnerving. I wanted to make it so most anyone could do it. If someone has a set of 4343B speakers and the wire coloring is the same as mine then...
Challenger604 I think you would enjoy Zoot Allures. Looking on discogs looks like they have first pressing in mint condition for little money compared to some. Listened to it again last night. Had...
Just wanted to say thanks for the replies and give an update. I did the refoam and replaced the LF binding post along with bypassing the rotary switch. The .22 caps were not in stock at the time...
Last night pulled out 2 of his records I have not listened to in a long time. Zoot Allures and Apostrophe ('). Forgot how fun these 2 records are to listen to.
Below copied from amazon.
Zoot...
Just to end this thread. I finished doing the surrounds and everything worked out well. I sent Mr Rick a picture of the speakers and what they were and he responded with what surrounds I would...
