Thanks I'll contact Steve about that. We know it won't be cheap. Thank you
Good tip. I've emailed Dr.Fieldcoil twice but no response.

I've been trying to find someone who can repair a vintage RCA driver for a friend. One...
I'm looking at JBl 2482 drivers. Of course there seems to be quite a difference in price per condition. I could spend the money on a pristine vintage pair for quite a bit of cash. These would be...
Definately. I have all the parts set up on ebay saved search by the time I get everything else functional I will hopefully have the parts by then.
I took the reel to reel out today. That wasn't...
Thank you so much for the link. That is too cool. That is what I will do. You mention a "modified LX-8 crossover". *edit nevermind I reread the thread* Can I use a LX-8 crossover or does something...
Speakerdave thanks for the info. I guess I need to take some measurements. I only have TruaRTA and a multimeter.
Wow a girl talking you out of tube amps? Haven't had that happen yet.
I...
I picked up a 1950's Ampex console. It looks so cool I'm going to restore it and I never want to move it again. I know it doesn't look it but it is heavy. I guess in the good old day furniture was...
Cabinet C31 is to my taste. As far as looks. Most of my speakers fit in corners lol...
There were no drivers and only one available. It was part of PWK's collection.
Perhaps I'll put together...
I paid $5 for this one. I dig the retro look. I'll keep looking for another. The D130 I am familiar with but I'm not as familiar with the cabs. There was a cool back loaded corner horn that had this...
I just picked up this cool Lansing Horn Lens. I don't find much searching the model number 1217-1290. The Jim Lansing logo on this is very cool. Thought I would ask here.
What speakers did this...
Thank you very much for the reply. I'd love to try the 604.
This is embarrassing but I was told the cabinets were A6 but it turns out they are actually JBL 4560's.
It is refreshing to see the site updated. It is coming along nicely. :applaud:
I have been researching the A6 but I can not find mention of what duplex driver was used. I don't have to use vintage or altec duplex.
What duplex driver was used?
What other duplex drivers...
Very interesting. I had no idea. I had one of the tubes they sold for Onix Melody. When repeated request for service or schematics for the amps failed I sold them. I could never get a straight answer...
Interesting. Klipsch licensed some back loaded horns but not usually that big. That is taking it from a shorthorn size and make it khorn sized. The enclosed back and sides are an advantage for sure....
Thank you for posting your pictures and plans. This is very cool. Do these beasties have a name?
Brociner made some early Klipschorns for PWK in the 40's. ...
Thank you Sirs :)
Very nice thanks again :)
Thank you very much for the pic and info. It is appreciated.
My brother has almost finished with his 4343 cabinet build. The last step is to stuff the cabinet with foam. Does any have a pic of how much to use? This is the last step on this long project....
What is your favorite Altec or JBL MF & HF horn driver combos starting at 500hz and at least 106db 1w1m?
Thanks LOL...... Wouldn't be the first time.
I guess I'll pick up an old 902-A just for curiosity sake.
Is this the bit of info I have been searching. Should I look for a 902-8T?

I think this would explain the...
You are correct. I've seen good looking cores sell for $100 -$200 but those be diaphragms are $475-$600 each. At that price I could get a pair intact for $1300.
Does anyone have a fr curve of the...
Analog Addict,
Thanks I'll try to find a 902-b.
SpeakerDave,
Maybe your right and I should just save money for the TAD drivers. I've heard the TAD 4001's a few times and they are nice. Sure...
