I'd build a sand filled Onken W and use 416's. On top BR boxes with 414z, 32c, 808-16a drivers.
It would actively crossover between the two...
I think I'll use the model 19 dimensions for the 416's but with a tunable port. Should the cabinet be thick walled or is it better to use the prescribed Altec construction?
Thanks Earl, glad I asked. Better to find out in the planning stage. I thought the added mass on the 416-8bd was there so the box could be smaller. It will be easier for me to start with a 2 way...
