A dome tweeter to a very shallow "horn like" high frequency "director"

I realize this is not one of JBL's efforts, but this forum is my best prospect for this sort of thing

EV not responding; I've emailed them thrice about diaphragms and re-cone kits, no reply. Don't feel like playing "let me connect you" with 'em since they've changed hands

Want to avoid disassembling driver until I have something in hand; my rotted foam is still intact, better than nothing for now. Appears to be approximately 1/4" thick. Rick Cobb came through with the edges I needed. Any help/ideas would be well received
