Won a pair of empty L100 cabs on eBay. Should I try to fill them with the original drivers or just buy the replacements. Which I think are still available.

I think that what ebay sellers have discovered, unfortunately, is that they can often part out vintage JBLs and get more money than they can get for a complete set of speakers.
So buying an empty set of cabinets and then looking for the drivers is probably the most expensive way to get a set. It will probably be cheaper to buy a complete set of L-100s than to buy the parts.
I suppose that in your situation, I would probably be looking for a used set of L100T with bad cabinets.
Or you could wait and buy a bunch of raffle tickets for the L-100s that this site will be giving away later this year.
I know where there's a set of 4311s in excellent shape at a garage sale - $150.Quote:

I'll take that deal. Where?
Don - I've got the info in an email at home - good as of yesterday, and I saw posted pics. I won't be home until 10PM today, but I'll send you the info then.

I found the info in my office email. Actually, I had them mixed up with another sale that I haven't heard back about yet. These might not be as nice as I thought, and he's asking $165 O.B.O.
