Did jbl ever think of adding an 077 or 075 to top out the high end on these ?
Why or why not ?

You can see the location of the 075 here: http://audioheritage.org/images/jbl/extracts/section.jpg
There are 2 problems with this arrangement:
-- a comb filter effect because of the large distance between the mouth of the 375/H5038 combo and the 075.
-- a difference in dispersion which is 120° below 7 KHz (the cross-over frequency) because the sound from the 375/H5038 combo is reflected by the curved panel, while the dispersion above 7 KHz is about 30° because the 075 is direct radiating.
Given the extended frequency range of the later 376/2441, it would probably be an improvement to switch the 075 off.

Never saw the tweeter in pics so I thought it was a two way like the Hartsfeild etc..
