TAD is back in the consumer HI end market. This is what they had to show. Available 3rd quarter....$40,000 a pair...beautiful. Be concentric mid-hi.

Did you listen to these? I liked the looks of them from the start. Curious how they actually sound.

Nice! :applaud:

The only thing really wrong with TAD is it isn't JBL. I consider it a fatal flaw. :p

I tried to find JBL/infinity Home audio at CES, but they continually make it too much hassle to find them. First, go to car audio then they have a little sign at the desk listing another location to hunt for. As I was writing down the location to go look & listen a Harman guy said they were probably tearing down...5 hours before the end of the show!. Marketing management never ceases to amaze me. I thought the idea was to show off your products to the largest industry gathering in the world...instead, they're playing "keep away" I don't get it...do you? Granted...I didn't discover this until the last day...this show is HUGE....but to tear down early....

Diana Krall sounded like she was in the room....like she was singing in my ear.

People have picked her CD's for demo seemingly forever now. Her recordings lent themselves to that, but now it's a turn-off. Cliche' as hell.

I guess they decided to offer a second floor stander... did they also show the Model 1?

Nope....no Model 1. Andrew Jones told me these were finished 3 days before show time.

Burnt out on her or not...and I'm not...talent is talent....and she's the whole package...with great recordings.

I'll second that. Still my favorite artist for the last 2 years. The funny thing is I lived in her small home town for 4 years while she had her high school jazz trio and never saw her play but had heard rumours how good she was. Julie and I are moving back there in 3 weeks.

I would of moved my head a bit and felt her tongue in my ear:DInteresting thought!

Any more?

I would think a `TAD` lower than my ear, though!

However... I will say if there had never been a JBL, TADs and many others would likely be quite different... and not in a good way.
