For 2425, my RTA measurements reveal the Mylar surround Radian is sufficiently different in performance from JBL's diamond surround to require filter adjustments for critical listening:

I tried a Radian replacement in my 2441, some like it cause they feel its smoother sounding, I felt it was too soft sounding, the smoothness at the expense of the dynamic punch JBL is so famed for! I took it out, and got the JBL part, to me JBL phragms are crisper, and have that transient punch!
JBL parts for JBL drivers!
Thanks for the immediate feedback in regards to Radian vs. JBL,you've helped tremendously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
