I RECENTLY PURCHASED A VINTAGE PAIR OF JBL SPEAKERS,S8R SYSTEM.
AFTER GOING OVER THEM I'VE NOTICED SOME OF THE TERMINALS ON THE N 7000 CROSSOVERS SPIN WHEN YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREWS TO SECURE THE WIRES TO THE TERMINAL POST(OUTSIDE OF CROSSOVER,NOT INSIDE0).
CAN SOMEONE RECCOMEND A FIX FOR THIS ISSUE,I'M NOT WELL VERSED IN SOLDERING,SO IT WOULD HAVE TO BE SOMEWHAT EASY,IF NOT,THEN CAN SOMEONE RECCOMEND A REPUTABLE SERVICE CENTER,I'M IN SAN FRANCISCO.
I TRIED CALLING A PLACE THAT DOES WARRANTY JBL AND THE GUY I SPOKE WITH DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT,SO I DON'T THINK I WANT TO GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
PLEASE HELP!
PARA

All of my N7000s have had spring terminals. However, my N1200s also have the screw terminals and when that happened to me, I had to open the case and resolder the wires to the terminals that had broken off from the contiunal twisting motion.

Sometimes by screwing it in "just so" the wires would make contact and the crossover would work. However, this is not a solid contact and will deteriorate over time.

I'll fix 'em for you.

I just sent you a PM with contact info.

It'll cost you $5.00 for the bridge toll, tho.... ;)
