Hi guys. I have an opportunity to buy these peakers but so far, the seller can't tell me the model#, age, etc. She only knows that they "were $1,800 new." Can anyone tell me what they are and what they might be worth?

Thanks.

Those are an SVA Center and a pair of what looks to be either SVA1600 or SVA1800 speakers. The SVA 1800s will have 8" woofers and be worth more than the SVA1600 with its 6.5" woofers.

Here's a link to the owner's manual. Note the differences in dimensions and weight from the 1500-1600 to the 1800 to the 2100. You could differentiate them that way too if you can't get the woofers measured. Good luck!

I have SVA 1600's and the SVA Center. My center's grille does not cover the horn.

I don't know what she has. The center isn't from the same "series" as the mains. Here is another picture she sent, without the grills.

Any ideas what this may be?

Thanks.

That center looks like a JBL CL505 - see message 9 in this thread: http://www.audioheritage.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=7498&highlight=cl505

Right, maabax and John. Good catch.

It's not really a good match for the SVAs unfortunately.

Hmm... Not a good match. Well, maybe I could buy it and use the center on another system. By the way, any advice about a reasonable price?

Thanks for all of the great input from everyone.
