I just had to put this in:

In the mid '70's for a year and a half or so, a band I played in at that time would occasionally practice at one of the band members homes, where we would use a pair of L200's (his father's) for vocal reinforcement. From what I remember, they got the job done well, and the abuse we put them through went undetected when they were used for their intended purpose.

Regards,
Charley

Why, yes, Bo!

That's the ticket! A drink stand! Better yet, why not gut 'em and make them into planters:thmbsup: !

Actually, the family enjoyed (forgive me) disco music :barf: (we played heavy metal and punk/new wave), and they did a fine job of cranking out that THUMP! ticka THUMP! ticka THUMP! with the exagerated bass and 16th-note highhat rythms.

Charley

Actually, even Disco sounds much better on a properly planned system.
