Would anyone be willing to post photos, front and rear for the grills of the JBL 4430> I had picked up a pair of these speakers without grills. I posted earlier about them but don't have any pics of how the grills are actually made? Thanks in advance. Norm

Heh. I forgot I had this in the camera for you.
We'll see if Audiobeer's are the same.
Cloth has come unglued a little in the upper left there.
[Excuse the dust.... :p ]

Yep those are the same. That is the same Pic Zilch sent me (1 of 10) when offering me his set of 4430s for the $500 w/shipping. Zilch now lives in Romania so it is a hell of a deal considering shipping. The money order was wired Zilch. Thanks again!

Mine is 1" with a 1/8" offset around the edge for the grill material to be glued.

It's not masonite, rather, routed MDF, 1" thick.
As Audiobeer points out, the area where the cloth is glued is recessed 1/8" all around.
When mounted, it's basically flush with the face of the horn panel above it.
[I be watchin' for that money order.... :p ]
