Hi all,

I had the privilege of meeting Widget yesterday and viewed his copy of the 2397 / Westlake horns.

These are far superior to the original. This is one talented fellow. His attention to detail is truly inspiring. He had them done in both solid walnut and cherry. Both are stunning, but the walnut is truly magnificent. You will appreciate the fact he is a perfectionist.

Unlike the original, the vanes are inset, not sandwiched in- between the top and bottom of the horn.

Widget, you are far to modest.

Place your orders boys, these will be a hot commodity.

Ken

Can you please make a 1" throat version since the 2" throat compression drivers are junk? :rotfl:

Hey, scott...

That, my friend, was some serious tongue-in-cheek banter you stumbled into. :p It originated on this Thread, as predicted...

Hard to keep-up here, I know. :D

Mr Widget,

I've already got good reviews, WOW.

Congratulations, your project is really coming along and sounds like your enjoying it.

Pity they maybe too heavy to send down here.

Well as it turns out, l'm planning a trip over there to the west coast probably April/May 2004 and then across to the east coast.

It would be great to catch for a look see at your masterpieces and meet up some of you great people.
