At last I must break down and buy a decent piece of test equipment. I expect I will only use this for working on networks. The immediate task is per post #125 on the 4343 Crossover Modifications thread, in which Giskard mentions that the Solen inductor coils will have to be unwound to get the correct mH value. In one case I have to be able to "unwind" from a value of .16mH to .10mH, so that should give an idea of the level of resolution and accuracy I need. Obviously don't want to spend more than needed.

Would appreciate any recommendations of make & model number. Thanks in advance.

I can source one for about A$60.00 plus postage digitech cat QM-1445 jaycar.com.au

Ages ago I sent over one for Robert in NY. You might be able to buy on Digikey or Mouser in Mainland USA. If you only one coil to adjust Robert may be able to help, send him a pm.

They are very useful.
