Got a line on another pair of 210 cabinets. If I can get them for a reasonable price I'll have two A1's or six A4's ....................................(with wings). http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/images/smilies/smile.gif

In my dreams or is it fantasy?
Of course you will want to install a 70mm screen and projector next.

I don't think that I could fit that in my house at all.....That's just silly.
[They'd fit in the back yard quite nicely....] :p

Stereo Sound printed a picture of 210's in a Japanese guy's listening room. The boxes took up most of the space, the couch was about 3 feet in front of the things. I don't think that a home sized room would allow for a the development of the low frequency sound waves.

They're in a 20' by 40' (detached) garage, not in the house. :D
I do like the idea of a 70mm projector and screen tho..... :bouncy:
Back to my original question........ has anyone ever heard one? I wonder what frequency the low end starts to roll off at ?
I should have kept those dual 18" subs.........http://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/images/smilies/biting.gif :biting:
Can you imagine.............................twelve 15's + four 18's............
Holy thump Batman.......

Once upon a time I wanted to do a A2 type set up and bought a pair of 210s and some 511 horns. Sadly, they couldn't even fit through the door and sat in my garage until a buyer came by to pick them up.

I look at that picture, and when I think about it, I'm sure many of us here among the Forum have experienced (I happen to be listening to Hendrix as I write this) this Altec product, or a number of Altec's others, at movie theatres over the years and didn't even realize it.
Regards,
Charley
...Now, how do I write that one into the Wife Acceptance Factor treaty...

Mr. Rummel, you took the words right off of my fingertips.....if you were in any "Wide screen " movie theatres in the late sixties and early seventies, you may have even heard three at a time.....
