First off: This is my first post. Great wealth of information here. TO be honest, I only discovered this site last week. Anway- thanks. I'll do my best to add to the quality already present.
Anyway- I've got a couple of pairs of 4406's in service and I recently got a hold of another. One of the 115H-1's has some resonance in it- sounds as if the voice coil was lifted/overdriven. Not sure if it is fixable, and since no kits are available, I may never know.
JBL Pro's techs offered up their "closest" replacement- which I was told was the 6" that's in the 4206... it's a 506G-2S stamped alum something or other...:bs: That's impossible right? This driver doesn't look anything like the 115H-1... and it's a different size, has a different range... but maybe I'm missing something.
Advice? HELP? Anyone with a 115H-1? Anyone that want's to offer up some help in diagnosing the failing 115H-1 would be much appreciated.:banghead:
