Hello everyone, I tried these components to build the Olympus cabinet and for reasons of space to use it in a vertical position. I use the pr15, but I never really liked the result.. Can anyone recommend a better bass cabinet? The pr15 is not a must. I have several horns for 375, jabo, 2390,2350 h93 etc.. Hello Marlowe, and welcome to LH. The LE 15A works better in a larger cabinet in the range of 6 cuft to 8. It is a old version woofer and really never gets down to the last octave without being down many db in response. At the top of the header bar are taps for other sites. Click on the JBL Library on the next page you will see plans. This will show you size and tuning frequencies JBL recommended for this and other drivers. It will do a nice 35-32 hz.

That's not a simple question??? Do want exponential, radial, tractrix or smith?? Do you want CD like say a 2360 or 2380??

Rob I thought the same thing. What coverage and how much space can you afford for the horn.

An Exponential or radial will have a chance to match the directivity of a 40 degree bullet about 12kHz where the 375 drops off.

On the other hand it seems you can get away with, well maybe not murder but at least aggravated battery in the last octave.

LOL on the battery! You could just dump the 075's for a pair of 2405's or just stay in the beam! Like you said lot's of variables until the choice is made.

If I had a pair of nice 375s and LE15As these days I would probably give the Yuichi 290Hz horns a go.
In the past I would have been chasing some mythical and unobtainable ideal... times change and we recalibrate.

Thanks everyone for the replies ;-) the room measures approximately 9-10m x 4-4.5m. listening at a distance of about 4.5m. At the moment I use the jabo with cut at 500hz. Seems too directive to me. I had tried to 3d print the yuchi in PLA material.. I think they are much better in wood.. I didn't like them, but I think the fault lies with the incorrect material with which I built them.. I will post a photo
