JBL 123a-1 Woofer.....how do I tell if the cone is a JBL cone or aftermarket?

So I have a pair of 123a-1 woofers and I strongly suspect that they have been reconed. I want to be able to determine what exactly I have.How do I tell the origin of the cones? Will it have a C8Rxxxx number on the cone if the cone is indeed OEM JBL?

If your 123A-1 woofers still have their original cones, the cone number should be printed on the back ( like this );

If it's been reconed with a bona-fide JBL cone kit it'll say ( on the back of the cone ) something like C8R2213 or C8R123a ( depending on if the kit came from JBL pro or consumer ).

PS ; the white aquaplas coating on the front should also be a dead-giveaway. It's a thick white ( somewhat rough textured ) plastic coating.
- It's not just white paint.
