Hi, haven't been here in a bit. A friend had a question about the 128H and if recone kits (or just cone body itself) are still available from JBL? I have seen aftermarket ones available, ranging from $75 plain jane (non stone coat) to $175 for stone coated.Input welcome

Very few genuine JBL kits exist anymore. If the Speaker Exchange doesn't show a part available it is most likely NLA.

While it's doubtful that they are still available directly from JBL, when it comes to authentic kits, 128H-1 (black-cone version) kits are easier to find than 128H kits, since speakers such as the 4412A that used the 128H-1 were still sold for much longer, until ~2006 or so. If found, they can be used without issue as long as you don't mind the change in cone color.
