I’m rebuilding a pair of 435Be drivers. I got a sample of the APG S38N series ferrofluid, cleaned the coil gaps, put the 100 uL of ferro in the gap and ready to put them back together. I have to ask about the silicone o-ring, is it factory? One driver has one and the other doesn’t, which I thought was weird. 908869088590884

It looks to be a perfect fit inside the chamber. I don’t see it in the cross section of the driver and looking at labeled cross sections I don’t see it there either. If the general thought is that it belongs it may be a bit difficult to find, but I’ll do what I can. Anyone know where I can source the correct part of it’s needed? I do see that the cross section posted it a bit different, but I can’t seem to find it in any of them.

The crossection pictured is of a 2420 or LE85, not a 435Be. The 2420/LE85 is decades older than the 435Be.

I believe the orange colored silicone O-ring is correct.
