I know language and translations may make this difficult to follow, but if you're saying you don't think there is much difference between 4310/11/12 and the completely different 4411 let me just say you have no basis for your statement. They are completely different. The latter has an excellent LF driver and tweeter compared to the rudimentary complement in the 4311 series. The 4411 wasn't designed to mimic the frequency response of an Altec control-monitor, either. Enjoy what you have but don't close your mind to something totally different that you think isn't.

If you are set on one from this series, I would try to get a later model 4312 that has the 035TiA tweeter. I've never been fond of the paper-cone teeters personally. I also agree that you would probably be better off with a 44xx series JBL in most cases.

My opinion was on the L100-4310-4311 & 4312.
