Please help me identifying these speakers

I recently found these speakers at the local dump and they look like vintage JBL speakers, but I am unable to find any serial or model number.
I am really curious of these are legit or some kind of DIY project, I have been googling around for different vintage JBL models but can't find anything that matches.

Home-built? Certainly with respect to the crossover and cutout. The rest is obvious.

Only thing that remains now is to decide what to do about the fully functioning woofers and tweeters... :confused:
