Has Anyone Heard The Altec A8-16B ?

There doesn't seem to be much written about the A8s. I know they are a slimmer version of the A7s designed for small theatres and auditoriums but has anyone tried these at home?

Greetings CAD/Guy from Hood Canal Washington.
I have heard the A8, but its been a long time. As I recall, the sound was typically Altec, very much along the sound of the 846 Valencia.
Altec did build a studio monitor speaker the 9849 using that horn and driver, but instead of using the 416 for bass, It used the 414.

I think that the A8 would work fairly well in a home setting but would be lacking in low bass.
