Hi, I've kind of dabbled making a few crossovers from other members posts. Many years ago I made what I think is a high pass filter for a JBL 2404H to add it onto A Belle Klipsch as a supertweeter? THe schematic came from "The Audio Engineering League" although the links are no longer active. I'm wondering if someone experienced can fook at the schematic and tell me exactly what it is and does i.e. is it a 12 or 18 db? and what is the cutoff (like 5 or 10 khz)? Thanks for any info.

It's 18db with attenuation and a notch filter. Not sure of the cutoff have to plug it into LEAP.

Hi Rob, thanks for the reply. I'm trying to educate myself a bit. Poking around online on crossover calc sites I found this diagram. Kinda looks like mine with 2 caps and 2 inductors .... but it shows it as a fourth order 24 dB. Then there's the extra cap on my diagram. So is the extra cap and inductor the "notch filter you refer to or could this be a 24 dB? Sorry, in major learning curve mode.

The 3uf 9uf and 120uh are the 18db network. The 7uf 200uh and 10 ohm are the notch.
