Everest 67000.

Hi.
I have a pair Everest dd67000, and I would like to lower the output
from the horn one, two, or maybe even three dB.

On the 66000 Greg Timbers told that it was posible to do so, by changing a resistor.

The stock range of balance adjustments should be fine.

I dont know if I need that much.
But I need at least one dB maybe two.
The standard 0,4 dB is not enough in my room.

(To my liking) :)To my liking they are not too bright, but my room when I had the E2s may have been less live than yours. I haven't studied the schematics, but swapping out the resistors should be fairly simple. I doubt that you would want to trim them more than an additional dB. 0.5 dB to 1.0 dB over such a wide frequency range is pretty dramatic.

Hello Brian, JBL are very sensitive with speaker cables. I prefer classical Monster cables for high medium.
some esoteric cables make an excess of médium.

i know - I have tried out many different cabels.
so far, the best I have tried, is Transparent Ref XL.
I have come a long way with cabels.

But my room is very “a live”. :crying:
