Sort of discovered something I hadn't noticed before but the cabinet dimensions shown in the JBL 1974 home catalog for the L100s don't exactly correlate with actual L100 cabinets I have and even with each other - i.e. 36 x 60 cm does not = 14 x 24 inches does not = actual cabinet size of 14-1/4 x 23-1/2.

Is this common in the catalog specs for other models?

I checked my L46s, since they are handy. The catalog shows the spec as 20, 2/4" tall, obviously a typo. They are actually 20, 3/4" tall. The other measurements are correct. Measured without grilles.

I've found other specs to be incorrect, such as the diameter of the 2251J which is neither 355mm (13.98") nor is it quite 10" (leaves a gap around the "flat" edges). :dont-know:

Note to all: It helps if you also post a link to the catalog page(s).

I see they corrected the error on the L100 cabinet size in the 1976 catalog page:

36.2 x 59.7 cm - guess they didn't know about millimeters - :hmm:
