were there ever any? as in purposely built and sold by JBL or one of their affiliates for sole use with the L100?
I see so many, most wood but a few metal for sale that all claim to be either genuine JBL or exact replicas
was their really such a thing?
thanks
Michael

I sold JBL products during most of the 1970's and I don't recall a factory stand for the L100--we made do with bricks and Bibles if levitation occurred to us.

These days, I use stands from Deer Creek Audio in Colorado for my L100 Classics. They make a version for the original L100, too: https://deercreekaudio.com/products/the-type-j-steelstand

Good stands.

thanks for the insight
those metal ones you linked me to are like the old standesign construction
pretty sure you know why I asked, the ones all over fleabay with "JBL" on the front
I see most of the sellers now say "made for" instead of "genuine JBL"
thanks again

still curious though if JBL sold them officially or if they were just another 70s era aftermarket stand from somebody like Bush?
