Hi, what are the different beryllium driver designs people have created? I am well familiar with TAD, various Cessaro, and 2402. I have heard the horns universum multiple times and like the Radian 950pb..

I also like dual woofer front loaded horns, but I do not like Altec highs. Not only because of lack extension, more importantly I do not find them nuanced enough for my taste in showing inflections for violin like TAD or Radian do in the highs.

I am wondering if anyone here has a Radian dual woofer front loaded horn, or one with JBL using beryllium diaphragm.

Hello Bonzo

Have you listened to any of the 435Be or 476Be based systems? I use 2435/435 drivers in a pair of systems and also use the 045Be in one of them. I am partial to the clarity of the Be drivers.

Rob:)

Sorry forgot to reply. No I haven't. I also need to listen to 850. What configuration are you using the Be drivers in

Hello Bonzo

I have coated 2435's mounted to PTH1010 waveguides crossover at 1.5K in my active mains in my HT set-up. The other system is my Array 1400 clones, my avatar, where I have coated 2435's with 045Be's.
