Hi,
not really a JBL item, I know, but of Italian manufacturer RCF instead. I've found this compression driver in a German Leslie wannabe from Echolette:
83857
It has a 52 mm phenolic diaphragm and an open voice coil. Here's the issue:
83858
What could have been the cause for a damage of this kind? The magnet assembluy doesn' appear to have moved. The coil gap ist still annular.
And ist there any chance to get a replacement?
Best fegards!
