ESS Series Eclipse Electronic Crossover

I was curious so I grabbed one to potentially use with the Heil drivers. The actual crossover point is 850Hz with 12 dB slopes. They used 18dB slopes in the passive applications but I figure I could either switch up to a 24dB L/R or add a passive poles to get 18 dB slopes. It has a nice high-pass function and an adjustable Q bass boost at 30 Hz with a Max of 6dB boost so a Q of 2 That sure does sound familiar.

Cool... do you think they have more than one? I assumed they found one back in the dust of their warehouse and were offering it up.

Have you listened to it yet? Nelson Pass used to work at ESS. Not sure what era this device is from, but it could be a gem.

Yes they do have more and they are new in box and for $199 to me it was a no brainer. Not sure how old but it looks old as in a typed owners manual. No chance to listen yet wanted to see what it did so did some quick measurements.
