University Sound compression drivers

Does anyone know how to open the vintage University Sound ID30 or ID40 compression drivers?

Seems to me there was a similar topic on Audiokarma (can't find the actual thread now). I bought a Jensen V21 after I destroyed my ID 40...
You could also try to post your question on Greatplainsaudio, because I'm not sure if it's possible in any way to remove the bell without breaking it.
