hello, friends.

i'am doing a mono sub for my main system id like to use a JBL network crossed under 200Hz or lower if possible.
i see the only network offered was a 3145 i think 320Hz, and a handful of "other" networks at 500Hz.

did JBL do a mono network ever.
do mono sub filters exist in a home hi setup?

which networks could i use with a mono powered sub from JBL discriminately.

so I've done some reading and i see that the BX63,BX63A has been used in the sub. from my understanding
this may be an option barring it could be located.

the 5235 card has also been mentioned as a mono sub network playing down to 290Hz, could the card(s) be modified to
take the crossover down to 80~120Hz

oOo, i see BX63a kits, i think i will take one.

This solution requires two resistors, 1 kOhm or 2 kOhm each. The outputs are added to each other, giving a mono sum signal. The resistors isolate the outputs from each other and are REQUIRED.

PS: the outputs are those at the crossover, and the mono output goes into the power amp.

i think the idea of using the kit would make my feeble, attempt at a diy occurrence
obsolet, the kit mr junkuno constructed will be more then adequate for my home system.

but thanks.
