I want to upgrade a pair of 4333 with a 2" driver and 2311 short horn. What difference in sound do I have if I use a pair of 2441 or 2445, both with the same Radian 1245 diaphragms. 2445 is much easier and cheaper to find here in Germany.

Are you sure theres enough clearance in the cabinet for the larger driver .... ?
You'd be better off getting a TAD 2001 or 2002 , or even a radian 1" berylium driver .

The 2441 and 2445 use the same phase plug. All other things equal they should sound just the same.

Hi,
possible solution can be 2450 driver core as it is smaller then 2445/46, but 2311 horn is "a must" either.
