I am asking about the era prior to 1970. Not too concerned about those speakers with a supplied Energizer amp setup, but just the speakers. I have seen enough Paragons, Metregons, and Minigons to know they are not in the top four around Missouri, but I am curious where the lesser examples like the BelAire, Madison, Harlan, etc fall in the order. I live in St. Louis, so maybe my experiences are a little biased due to being in a very wealthy, Fortune 500 and universities metro area.

Iconics are pretty rare, especially in pairs. I love to find a pair of them.

I think opus, belaire are up there on rarity scale. I have a pair of each. Also pair of Harlan but I think they are not as rare.

I always thought the Belaire was the freakin' coolest looking speaker ever!

I would venture a guess that my Industrial Variant Paragon could be in the running.
Its the only one know.
