Hi guys,
today I replaced an original dia in a 2420 with an aftermarket titanium type for a sound check.
I was very astonished about the "lot of air" round the fitting bolts of the 2420 when placing the dia on the pole plate. The original part fits exactly, lightly heavy, on the bolts. I think that can be a problem for the exact adjustment of the coil in the gap. You have to do it with a sine tone while screwing and shifting the diaphragma. When placed exactly the sound is ok.... a little more "metalic" than the genuine part with the aluminium dia.
